Fished the TVKA tourny Saturday at Gunsterville/Town Creek.

Town Creek is mostly shallow water - 3 to 8 feet - and lots of grass. Water Temp was 60.2-60.8

Tried lipless, jerk bait and A Rig in open water, weightless wacky and jig in laydowns and docks. Finally landed 2 small bass on spinnerbait.

Thanks for posting. They can be tight lipped sometimes for sure. I've been wondering what the water temps were over there right now. How far north did you end up running? This time of year, my best days over there are usually in sub 3ft. Swim jigs, swim jigs, and the occasional spinnerbait is about all I throw until mid to late April. Always blows mind how shallow those fish feel comfortable setting up on that pond.

not. To love fishing in TV before the grass took over one of the best days I ever had in there was catching bass on trick worm and spinnerbaits.
