Monroe is reported from Hughson CA which is far from a "hood"...... Stuff likes this happens all the time when you get tournament anglers all jacked up getting to their spots. Honestly I'm surprised it does not happen more often. As Always there are always 2 sides of the story and there were likely several options for this "altercation" to be deescalated.

Lock master prevented an altercation in the lock....that lock is tight & with it being full with boats tied to boats, a lot of damage coulda happened including other fisherpersons.....do not board someones vessel in anger.... emoSorry , emoBadLanguage .................. emoGeezer emoUSA

Ish is getting a bad reputation for cussing and fit pitching and now this. Fines and tournament disqualifications of the past don't seem to have any effect. When sponsors start dropping him, maybe he will cool down.

Two completely different stories, but if he came in hot and rammed Ish's boat, he should have his butt kicked. Now, if he just tapped it and was using his trolling motor, like he says, well then Ish could be wrong. Will have to wait to hear what all of the witnesses say to pass judgement.

I guess all the NASCAR racers are thugs who throw helmets and fight after they hit or get hit by somebody else? I don't care if they are White, Black, Mexican, Chinese, etc this is a bad situation. I don't care how you put it. There are verbal altercations all the time between anglers. The important question from this is " was it worth it". The individuals who evidently have attitude problems and are full of themselves. I think both should be disqualified from the next event. Lets learn from it here on this forum and govern ourselves accordingly.

This went beyond a verbal altercation. If it had only been verbal it wouldn’t have made the news. I'm not a Nascar fan so I couldn't say.
