Got out for four hours this morning. Tried a frog around water willow, nothing. Buzzbait around some docks, one hit. Found some reeds with good depth around them, started flipping a punch rig and got one about 5 or 6 pounds on second pitch. Caught one on about 5th pitch so stuck with it. Ended...
Grass hopper creek sprayed today. Guy doing the spraying got a phone call, loaded his skiff and said he would be there at 2. Phone number on his truck 888-67-PONDS.
I would be interested in a trap. Dig a hole, cover it with branches and leaves, throw in a couple of snakes maybe some pungi sticks. When they walk up to your truck they fall in and wait for you to get back from a relaxing day of fishing. Then you have a decision to make.

anywhere on the chick is good, I was just busting your balls. We have alot of people on the lake now and its crazy. When you get here the water should be warming back up a little.
right now the lake is covered up with fishermen, and the grass hasn't got growing yet. You might want to visit the lake in north carolina that has put out 2 40 pound bags in 7 days. Lake shearon harris.
Douglas, Cherokee, Norris, Melton Hill and Fort Loudon are all around Knoxville. I have only been on Cherokee. Of those I would go to Douglas lots of coves and pockets on that lake. This may not be helpfull but those are lakes in the area.
