Anyone for fishing Venice?

Wow! Our fishing trip took FOUR HITS today! Never had it happen so much before, but in the blink of an eye we're down four guys. Again, I'll throw it out there in case one of you is so incredibly and independently wealthy, or so well organized and ahead of the game, or so devil-may-care about making a living that you could pick up and go to Louisiana for 3 days of sport fishing.

Just thought of something...

The Venice charter website that I check to see what the fishing's like indicated that the last two fishing weekends were total washes due to heavy squall weather.

HOWEVER this coming weekend is pristine!

SOOOO......

Three weeks of basically untapped fishery with solid weather and the fall feeding frenzy pattern moving in...

I'm off to Venice in 9 hours.

Gee, hope I can sleep. I'm exhausted from prep, but somehow I think I'll be wide awake at 4:30 AM tomorrow!

I took my boat down Labor Day weekend and we caught 9 species. We loaded up on reds, the speck bite was off.
