I was wondering yalls opinion on what is the best handling boat(especially rough water handling), make and model. Thanks

I love my Triton 21x2 its not a speed demon but will take some rough water better than any other I have ever rode in. Well bass boat anyways my dad had a ranger bayboat that is awesome in rough water but not sure thats what ur wanting.

Mine's a Pro-Craft and it'll beat you to death in rough water. emoBang
I have a 20 foot PRO-CRAFT and it does a great job in rough water bigger is always better

LOVE MY 19 FT Pro Craft! A lot of it is in how you drive it!
You keep it trimmed up in rough water you might as well be in a flat bottom.
There are a lot of fine boats out there, but if you don't keep the v in the bow down in rough water, they all will whoop your butt!

Best ridding boat I have been in was a 20' vision. We were running 60 MPH on chick with it white capping with 3 foot waves. It was like sitting on a couch. I was truely amazed.

I like my ol 21ft TVA boat she works great we were out this weekend with the wind and very stable riding down the river on the other hand is a different story but I am a little bias lol

Any boat that says "Modified V Hull", like my Tracker will beat your brains out in rough water. I hear its hard to beat the ride of a Ranger boat. Stratos also does good because of the size and weight. Heavy boats typically ride smoother but you sacrifice some speed.

My Allison XB-21 is the best riding boat I have ever ridden in. Nobody believes that until they ride in it. I have owned stratos 200XL, Legend Alpha 199, and Ranger Z-20 and none of them are in the same league.

i dont see how a allison being so light could ride that good in rough water.i have heard that they do but a puzzle to me.it seems like the more weight the better ride.

Lance's Allison really does ride well in rough water. It puzzles me too. But I will also say this....his boat rides just as smooth at 86mph as it does at 56mph. That's one sharp sled right there.

Dont get a Norris Craft if you're looking for a smooth ride. My kidneys will vouch for that.

Twilsons Triton is a great riding boat as well. One of the nicest I've fished out of.

I still like the ride of a Skeeter the best, personally. Haven't ridden in the I-class Skeeters yet, but the sx200 is a sweet boat with an awesome ride.

But all boats ride different and A LOT of it has to do with who is behind the wheel and not so much about what name is on the side.

I am running a 19' BassCat and I have not found a better hull for all around performance in a 19' hull. It has a great ride in the nasty, quick holeshot, and above average top end speeds. I have never been in their 20' or the new 21' hull, but I have heard from guys that have stepped up from a boat like mine into the bigger cats and they have told me the 19' will not compare to how much better the 20' hulls are.

Best ride bar none is an Allison. Anybody that complains about a Norris Craft can't drive and should not be let out in a boat (Adam) If you want a Norris Craft to ride smooth (learn to drive) be ready, you can't sit in them andhave thembehave....

Stability = Champion

But they are somewhat boring to drive because of it.... I've got a 19' with a 200 merc and it just won't dance no matter how rough it is..
