Stability = Champion

But they are somewhat boring to drive because of it.... I've got a 19' with a 200 merc and it just won't dance no matter how rough it is..

I agree...Champion has been the smoothest for me so far. I haven't been in a newer Allison though

I own a triton and I like it but if the water is rough I would rather have my vision back that I sold. But 9 out of ten times I happy with my triton. When I bought my triton I was supprised how smooth my vision really was.

Best ride bar none is an Allison. Anybody that complains about a Norris Craft can't drive and should not be let out in a boat (Adam) If you want a Norris Craft to ride smooth (learn to drive) be ready, you can't sit in them and have them behave....

Carl, I've ridden in and driven Norris Crafts since '94....In smooth water or a small chop they are nearly unbeatable...but let that water get to white-capping and they turn into an entirely different beast!!!! emoLaugh I love mine and wouldn't trade it for the world, but it is NOT a rough water boat! Maybe I just need to come ride in yours a time or to and do some learning emoBigsmile

Adam, if you rode with me, you would have to come off the water and trade boats....Now if you rode with lowdrag, you would have to come off the water and add a periscope..(he thinks he drives a submarine and has proved it to me on a couple of occassions..)

The Turtle Activist League will be having a meeting on Allison boats and the devestation they cause to poor turtles cause they can't get out of the way. Poor turtles come up to get a breath of air and zip... heads cut right off. They simply have no reaction time, hence forth we will petition that all Allison boats be required to have bells on them to allow proper reaction time . Also an issue that we have been notified of is turtles being crushed when drivers of allison's are thrown from thier boats and landing on unsuspecting turtles. emoPoke

I have a 2002 Aries RAM 2000 that is short of 20 feet. It rides really well in rough water. I have always believed it was due to being a heavy boat with a hull that looks very similar to a Ranger. I had been told by a local Ranger dealer that Aries had been sued several times by Ranger in the past over its hull design.

Anybody that says a ranger or an aries rides well needs to have their head examined, especially twice....I am all for the save the turtle movement due to Allison decapitation.....

I agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adams boat is great and very fast even with two big boys in it but good god it can be a total "ASS HAMMER" then again maybe I am just a puss. Beetlespins Allison is a bad ass boat and it is fast enought to make me want to scream like a little girl but very smooth.it is definitely a pleasure to ride in.

I've driven a lot of boats in the last 25 years for pleasure and for a living...a 21' Bullet and the 21' Allison are at the top of my list as far as good ride and handling goes. Most people think their boat rides great, until they ride in a boat that actually does ride good. It's kind of like your TV at home...you don't realize how bad the picture is on your TV until you go to your friends house that has a HD plasma TV...LOL.

Paul - You are right. You told me that the 21xrd is the smoothest riding boat and you were right. Lance - I like riding in your boat but I do like the 21xrd Bullet the best.

David.
