Bill Introduced to Further Restrict Trotlines

As expected, after the Tennessee Fish & Wildlife Commission declined to further restrict trotliners in Tennessee recently, avid paddlers found legislators willing to introduce bills that would override the TFWC. Paddlers, who consider trotlines stretched across Tennessee streams a safety hazard, introduced similar legislation once before, but it failed. Now they are back for Round Two. I don't see as many trotlines these days. I grew up setting out trotlines with my dad from the "Chick" to Watts Bar. Thanks for sharing.
