Well another cff tournament with no water in the lake , this time worse than the last. Had about the same results too. We started off ran down river and started catching them on crankbait had limit in about five casts. Caught about six or seven there and then comes the dreaded 40 lb rockfish. Moved around several times with no luck . Watched Steven turn a shad rap into a topwater fish kept coming up chasing bait so Steven throws it out and just let it sit on top and bam fish came right up and ate it. That was about the only entertaining thing of the day. When it comes to catching a kicker fish we are bout as lost as lost gets. Had three keepers that weighed 8.23. All fish we caught all day was on crank bait couldn't buy a bite on a jig. Congrats to everyone in the money and to Todd and John on good bag and big fish. At least next tournament providing we are able to have it , we will have higher water that will be a refreshing change.

Thanks cuz for the congrats and you're right about the water . I know we've had lots of rain but tva keeps sending it down river makes no sense to me . Oh well going to different lake .

Congrats on what you did catch we didn't have any luck ran to a location were we had found some fish to find out there was no water. We only had one fish for our effort.
