I have been thinking about this since I heard of a get-together CFF had last year (spring), where some folks showed things they were really good at, like Drumking tying knots, and EricM throwing a 10 foot net.

This knot thread got me interested in it again. http://www.chattanoogafishingforum.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=20464&posts=11

I can throw a net, (small net very well, large net so-so) shoot docks well enough to get by (dont do it DK
), but my knot tying consists of one, yes, 1 knot that I can tie for baits/hooks attachment. I can also tie some pre-rigged stuff like snells, and such, but that is it. I have no idea how to flip properly.

I know lots of folks would like to see the right way to rig tubes, toads, catfish rigs, (Cheez, EricM, WLG?)

Maybe DJW's could be there and show his stuff, and take some orders. I would love to have a couple of his baits, but since I have to tell him what colors to make (custom only) I need some guidance.

FA could show some rods he makes as well, and its a perfect time to deliver rods that need repair to him.

Someone with a sidescan could show people what the heck those things can really do!

Any other ideas? Its also another great reason to get together and meet some more new faces.

Anyone got interest in doing this again? I was thinking maybe HBSP, or that park on the lake side of the Dam? Or maybe over at Waterhaven?

Lets here some ideas.
