We started by running upriver to the spot that had been so good to us this summer, only to find a boat fishing the structure we had been focusing on before nighttime. Moved down and started catching fish, albeit dinks. They finally moved within 15 minutes of darkness, and we moved up and immediately caught our first keeper. Once darkness hit, we focused on throwing spinnerbaits. Limited out in around an hour but could not make up much weight culling. We seem to now be in a cove of 1.5-pound fish. Ended the night catching 15 fish, primarily on spinnerbait but with a few on worm, chatterbait, and yamatanuki. Lost our two biggest fish close to the boat on spinnerbait, which was a bummer. Congrats to those who weighed in solid bags of fish.
