Cff #2 lower nickajack

Cff #2 is behind us now. We were kinda worried about this one . For one I haven't been on lower nickajack in about 2 or 3 years . We started out on a main river hump throwing a trap in the wind which didn't produce a single bite . So we moved to a flat that had a small point on it with grass . About second cast there I had a 5 pounder absolutely crush a trap. Kept fishing there but no more takers. Moved across the river to another hump and we caught another solid fish on a trap. Fished around for a while before we caught third keeper on a river point. We ended up catching about 7 or 8 fish all day . Finished with 10.43 good enough for 2nd. Congrats to Mark and his son on 1st place on a tough day post front conditions. All fish caught on trap except for two caught on spinnerbait in about 5 to 8 ft water.
