Ronnie and i wanted to fish a spot down river and we also wanted to fish up river but with the other expected Tx.'s and boat traffic we decided to just stay in Soddy Creek. We never left it all day. We caught twenty-four fish. I think six were keepers with two of those being small spots. and the rest were all short. We caught all but one fish on shakey heads. Ronnie caught one keeper on a crank bait. The water temp was 63-65 degrees. We were beating the banks and fishing shallow. We did see one huge Bass resting in the shade of a boat dock. See would not bite. Our three fish weighed in at 9.81 lbs. and was good enough to get second place. Stephen and Billy had 9.97 lbs. I think. We had second big fish that was 5.50 lbs. and they had one that was 5.55 lbs. So congrats to them once again on a win. Hope to see everyone in May!
