Chester Frost fishing pier

There is a crew tearing down the old fishing pier, the one that has been closed for the last year and a half or so. The replacement is coming. Part of the TWRA/Bill Dance initiative to highlight Tennessee lakes.

thats great - visited Chester frost last time we were down and the new ramp looked great - two more months till our house is done and we move down for good

They are starting to move stuff around in the parking lot so I guess their getting ready to install the new pier that's been sitting there.

I saw the new stuff in the parking lot but I wasn't sure if that was for the pier or for the dock replacement. Glad to hear they're trying to get the pier done!

New dock finished on beach side of CFP, very nice. Old dock completely removed Thursday of camp ground side. The ramp is usable two wide on beach side.

I was told handrails to the covered dock is the hold up on opening the pier so now we wait.
