I have been out three straight times and have caught nothing. Looking for structure at around 15' but since I'm a noob I am pretty much limited to known fish attractors, etc.

Using light tackle with 1/16 jig heads and various grubs, curly tails. White, black, chartreuse.

I generally put in at Wolftever and head around to just south of Paradise Cove and work my way down through the coves. I would put in anywhere though on either side.

I would be extremely happy with a half-dozen keepers (aka supper). Even one would be better than this.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

From one nubie to another. It seems we both have had the same luck. I have put in on Soddy lake and iI do realize that I am still learning the area and just where to go and what to use. The only thing I have caught are mostly small bass. Although yesterday I did hook a very large large mouth but I lost it while trying to get my net. It was fun though. Using light tackle he beat me by pulling under a tree. From what little I have learned about the crappie it seems the water temperature may be a little warm. They tend to like the cooler temps and hang deeper right now. Using minnows may be the way to go. I hope to try that soon myself. Good luck

I like 1/32 or 1/24 oz jig heads with Bobbie Garland Baby Shad 2" in shad color, Black with chartreuse, Blue with Chartreuse, Monkey Milk, White, Salt & Pepper , 3" Berkley Gulp Live just to name a few around bridge pillars, under docks, and down trees .
