Dog needs good home

Someone set out a black Lab mix at my neighbor’s house. He’s a very friendly dog and has been around people and is house broke. Approx. 1 year old. My neighbor is unable to keep him and is looking for a good home for him. If he can’t find a home for him the dog will have to go to the pound.

Don't be so quick to say that it's a mix. It looks very much like a full blooded lab. A lot of people believe that a full blooded black lab should be all black, but in order for it to be a true Black lab, there must be white on the dog. I know that it sounds contrary, but it's true. My father and I raised labs when I was a younger boy.

It's a beautiful dog, and doesn't deserve to go to the pound. It's still young enough to train into a decent hunting companion.

How can you tell it's a year old? It looks just like a dog in my neighborhood.

I can tell it's mix because of its tail. It curls over it back , look sort of like a spitz's tail. And on the age, I'm just guessing because it's still acts like a puppy.
