Hey All when I bought my boat few months ago my driver and passengers bucket seat frames where rotted, so I twisted and turned trying to figure out what to do .. after pricing seats and recovering .. wel recover was out .. rebuild more like it .. so decided to buy some wood and vynil and try it my self.. of course I made the seat taller and a lil wider to accomodate my wider than norm lower half emoLaugh .. what do ya think of my DIY drivers seat.. made it out of exterior grade 3/4 ply and reused the old seat foam and added another 5 inches to make it taller, and stainless steel staples.. I know its not a what ya would call a pro job but I think its pretty good for a first shot sorry pics grainy camera phome lense needs cleaned

He made a funny!

The seat looks GREAT! Definitely an upgrade to what was in there. You might be on to something there!

Looks great - that's certainly a better job than I could do NRG! I'd have to bungee cord a lawn chair down in my boat if I wanted a real seat. :)

Only thing missing is those nascar seat belts!

David..its funny you said that. My first 2 boats had lawn chairs! I screwed them down to the floor and they lasted for a couple of years.

Seats!!! WOW!!! I never thought of seats in a fishing boat. I don't have any seats at all in my boat. You have to stand up while running down the river in my boat.

In my first boat, I removed the driver's seat and used a folding canvas stool when I was driving the boat. Folded it up after a run and stored it under the console. It worked great. Gave me more room in my first boat. 15 footer.

Now CCSM of course I do .. I always do my best .. but Greg is giving me the incintive and pats on the back to push my self to a new better best .. I love TJ Snow.. best company Ive ever worked for. And thank you for the opportunity that you gave me :)

You're welcome ---- we have so much work coming up we will see if you're thanking me in a few months! It is a good place to work, I have to say so myself --- not perfect, but a good place!!!!!!
