Well, No not really. Actually we have been busy. I'm sure that we could have found something fun to do instead. We are not politicians, but we have the right to speak such as we have.

The post wasn't about fishing but it WASrightly placedin the "Off Topic Discussions"

I must admit I would rather be on the water but I think that this has been a good civic exercize and probably should be considered a civic "duty" to do from time to time.

Anyway, it seems to have been handled in a gentlemanly yet passionateand clean way and I commend every participant for speaking out. For whatever THAT is worth ! emoLaugh

No harm was done that I am aware of.

Oh, OK, continue on. I was kidding dude. I was doing my civic duty while reading yalls comments, making beer cans available for recycle.

beetlespin - 8/21/2008 9:10 PM And weren't the dinosuars driven to extinction after a comet hit the Earth and basically polluted up the atmosphere so bad that sunlight couldn't penetrate enough for plants to grow?

beetlespin, I can't say for sure. My memory is just about shot.emoScratch Ask Doc he may recall it.

Bettlespin, you are right as rain about what happened to the dinosaurs, Fat Albert and I were there.

I thought the dino's drove F-350 Super Duty Extended Cabs, with A/C and P/S. emoScratch

contrary to polular belief, the dinosaurs were killed when they did not get into Noah's Ark. wellmost of them did, there was apparently some left during Job's time on earth. Look in any bible Job 40:15 - Job 41:34. Verse 41:19-20 says" Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire spoot out. Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds" Now if that does not discribe what we belief a dinosaur would do then I must have a big bag on my head that wil be here until I die. Also the earth if not much over 6000years old, so i'm not real sure about the natural cycles that take millions of years to complete. Just the Truth from T-dub's world.

Thanks Doc, I just couldn't recall for sure. I think I saw you and FA there fishing around the newshorelines made when Madagascar broke off.

Weren't y'all in thatwhite Jurassic Skiff ? Whoever that was were really onto some good schools of Leptolepis ! emoGeezer

Here is another view on CO2 and Global Warming:
"Carbon dioxide is not to blame for global climate change, Sorokhtin said. “Solar activity is many times more powerful than the energy produced by the whole of humankind. Man’s influence on nature is a drop in the ocean.”

Canadian climatologist Timothy Ball said, “If we are facing (a crisis) at all, I think it is that we are preparing for warming when it is looking like we are cooling. We are preparing for the wrong thing.”

Supposedly, and everything froze. Opposite of Global Warming.

I took Environmental Science while working on a masters degree in the mid 1970s. Had to write a report on the coming ice age as reported on the cover of Time Magaizine. That didn't work out too good, either.
