I will attempt a 3rd annual fish attractor project here on Lake Chickamauga within the next month. I have no date set in stone yet.....It will probably be about the last of January like before. That will give me enough time to gather up trees for the area fishing piers. I am open to suggestions as always...particular places that need trees, places that would be a waste, places to get trees that may be willing to donate.....

I can usually get a plenty....but your input is always welcome!

I will post when I finalize a date and you are all welcome to help.....or assist in any way. As always...what trees I do not use, you guys and gals are welcome to fight over what is left and sink them in your secret fishin holes.

My primary goal is to keep our handicapped accessible piers full of fish habitat so that all who use them may have a memorable day on Tennessee waters.;)

Hey Matt... I told DHaun and Drumking today that it's about time to hear from you. Are there any trees in or around the new fishing pier they built in the Harrison Bay Boat Dock Slough?

Harrison Bay Park's new pier will be priority.....we did it in the past but they built a new dock and all the trees are gone. I am delivering some trees there in the next few days! Any advice on the Soddy Lake pier? I know it is shallow in the summer but would it not be worth putting at least some trees there????

Thanks, Matt. I'm sure that there will be plenty of Cffers to offer assistance like last year. From the BTW crappie reports lately, the efforts last year are a success. Lots of fish being caught there. emoGeezer

Count me in, just let us know the date. Also, possibly you could designate a "Christmas Tree drop location" where CFF'ers could leave their trees. Thanks for the TWRA concern.

HEY MATT: I have just TODAY sent a E-MAIL to TWRA's Three people that I have had contact about a Dock at Suck Creek ,Concerning HABITAT. about Dropping Some of the Big Trees in Creek Banks that are about to fall.
It would only take two peaple and one Chain Saw ,Cheaper to do than having to use a boat and all the brush that they use. How about checking that out.

THANKs!
John

If the trees are on private property, I dont see why there would be a need for TWRA. If its on public ground thats another issue. Do you know John? Thanks

All the places that I have been Fishing,is on Creek Channels and areas that the Gov or TVA Controls I
think around the 684 contour Line it is worth a try.

What would it take to get a modest docking pier at the Tyner Lane ramp?

Drumking maybe we should have started a new thread for answers to our questions about docking piers......I'll get on that right away, emoIdea

For what it's worth, my boys and I spent a day at BTW a week or so ago, and being new to this area/site, I would like to share that I saw a couple of men in wheel chairs that were commenting on "I don't know who put those trees out there, but MAN! I'm sure glad they did!!!!" If you guys had all been there to see what I did, it would warm your heart to know how much joy you have brought to those that are challenged to fish as most of us do. I grew up in the back seat of my uncle Charles boat. A Vietnam Vet who was paralyzed... It made me proud to be able to tell him my friends at CFF had something to do with providing cover for the fish they caught. Thanks guys. By all means, you can count my family in to help. Whatever you need.

Post ,well worth READING .I cameout of the U S Navy in1949 and due to a ankle injury ,I can relate to
folks that have some handicap Mine is not to the point that I cannot Function, but somrtimes it is hard to
get in and out of a boat which is part of my life.I don't do a lot of things but I Love to spend time fishing.
