Hopefully I have figured out how to do pictures.

I updated this after Spur posted below to include the brush picture.

One thing that is hard to notice, is the brush pile they also placed out away from the dock in the top right-hand corner of pic one. There are 4 or 5 of them that should also make a super attractor.

Addundunm: I see you got one more pic up after my post. Great job Tony!

In the previous post, I stated that JCV was at the project. It was actually JSV (Jason Villers) and his daughter Ashley. They both worked hard, Jason with the trees and Ashley keeping us entertained.

Indeed it was a great project. I am certain these trees will hold many fish as spring approaches and many great memories will be formed due to this one project

. It was great working with the TWRA again this year. We not only worked but was able to fellowship and hear a few war stories also. We did have a close call while eating lunch that required the quick response of the Park Ranger but he saved the day (Thanks Fishing Ranger for saving Mr. Majors jacket from the hands of a tourist

)!

I will say: I was a little disappointed that NO-ONE else showed up from CFF

. Last year we had a lot sign up and several of those sacrificed a beautiful day to be on the water in order to help others. This year there were even fewer......which was disappointing. It was really nice to meet and work with Tony Sanders (TSO) and I would like to personally thank him for picking up the tab for our lunch!! Thanks Tony!! Thanks Matt Major and his Dad (great guy which gives so much to our area), Mr. Davis and Mr. Greg Atchley.

I agree Jason, we had a blast last year doing the structure at Booker T Washington. I honestly think the problem this year was the timing. I saw the annoucement that there was a project in the works, to which I replied I'd be happy to help if given enough notice. Then on New Years Eve there was a post saying that the date was going to be Jan. 5th, which was only a few days later. I think a project like last year would work fine IF we were given a couple of weeks to make sure everyone knew about it and could plan for it. This year was just too soon after a major holiday, with a lot fewer people looking at the forum on a regular basis. Matt do you have another project in mind? Let us know if you do, but be sure and give us time to plan for it.
