Please tell the kind folks at Jack's Bait and Tackle "Happy Anniversary!" It was 56 years ago today that Jack's opened its doors. There are certain times of the year that, if Jack's wasn't in business, Scenic City Fishing Charters, Inc. would have a hard time staying in business. We miss Jack terribly, but we are so thankful that Kim Gossard-Trotter and family are keeping his legacy alive! The story of Jack's Bait & Tackle Shop 56th Anniversary is definitely a wonderful story worth sharing: Jack's Bait & Tackle in Chattanooga celebrates 56 years

What a great story. Congrats on 56 years. Sadly you just don't see a legacy passed along like this example as much as before. I love multi generation "family" businesses. The business is more than just an income, the establishment truly becomes part of the family to be treasured and handed down. If you haven't visited Jack's you should, it is a great place and I might add they have some unique lures that you won't find most places, hey if you want to give the fish something they don't see every day then find it at Jack's!
