Just purchased a gun myself last month and went with a Glock. I decided on a Glock 30 (.45 ACP) and I have never looked back. Love the gun and Love the way it shoots! The finish they put on those guns really does last through everything. My glock is a little chunky but packs a mean punch. I conceal carry this gun and it really doesn't bother me. Go to G.T. Distributers in Rossville they have the best prices around and they will have almost any gun you can think of.

Who, me?? I'm a lost ball in high weeds as far as a gun to carry. I like all responses to my question and am considering them all. If I had my way, I gotta 44 magnum that I'd love to carry but unfortunately most folks want you to conceal them. emoBang If anyone can narrow the field for me that would be great - I hate to waste 5-600 dollars on something that I don't really want and don't know it!!! I just thought of something that may be worth your time. Coal Creek Armory on the southside of Knoxville has a range. They also rent handguns there. You could take your list and try out the ones you are thinking about. That way you would know for sure what is comfortable in your hand before you spend a bunch of money on something you don't like.
