My boaters Insurance is due. The problem is, I think that I can get the same coverage much cheaper than what I paid last year. For my Center console boat I paid over $700.00 for 12 months.

If you have negitive comments about a local company, I prefer you to PM me. I do not want to openly name an Insurance Company with bad comments unless it is already public knowledge or they just plain cheat you.

For open discussion, what company do you use and how do you rate their service and their rates. Do any of you guys/gals have any suggestions for me.

Call Christie MacArthur with Crye-Leike insurance. She's our inhouse agent and brokers out to several different companies. She saved me over $1000 a year in auto, for better coverage and boat insurance is around $380/year, that includes a $10,000 rider for tackle. Her number is 892-1515.

I went to Progressive and they are very reasonable on their prices. I had State Farm and Farmers at one time but on boats it seems that Progressive has them all beat. Plus Hank Parker and Bill Dance recommends them.emoBigsmile Jmax

I have mine with State Farm. At the present time I pay 250.00 a year for 18000.00 on boat moter & trailer with 100,000 libibilty. Baotsmans Policy. More ins. on B M T higher prem. less ins. on B M T less prem. I probably pay to much for mine because after ins. co. depreciates it I doubt they would pay anywhere near that. Dont buy more than yoy need I guess.

Thanks for all the good leads. I'll get on the tele on monday and do some dealing. My current Insurance is good untill the end of this Month.
