I`m needing to replace the carpet and/or the bunks on the trailer of 94 20xd....I`m just wondering if the 2 eyebolts for the tie-downs on the transom and the eye bolt on the front are designed to support the weight of the boat with the motor .
I guess if I had to and had the replacement bunks ready I could take it to the lake and drop the boat in and do it in the parking lot. What would be the chances of getting the bunks already carpeted from Bullet....it`s a Custom Metal Products trailer. I know they are located in Powell but not sure if they still build trailers for Bullet.

Custom Line is pretty much out of business at this point. Bullet uses Boatmate trailers now. I would do it at the boat ramp if I were you...today would have been a GREAT day to work on the trailer at the lake. You can lift the boat by the back eye bolts if you have to, but with the extra weight of the engine I would lift the boat by the jackplate (not the cross bar inside the plate). You might be able to buy the carpet at Tennessee trailers.
