how to post an image or video

the picture I took on my phone while trying to upload in on here it continues to say image to large. can any one give me advice on how to post a pic?

There are lots of free image resizing web sites. I like this one: https://imageresize.org/

The Ads are deceiving... ignore them. Just use the online tools. Change the percentage so that the maximum width is 800 pixels. Then scroll down to an option you can click that says "Choose Max File Size." Click that and for CFF set it to 99 KB. Then click the blue button on lower left called "Save and Download Image."

Then click the blue "Download Image" button.

I always text the image to myself and then save the received text image. Usually fits with no issue.
