Hows the fishing on Chic?

Hey everyone well by the time I get home next week will have been gone for 4 weeks. I would like to say congrats to Kim Stapp on the WBT. I wasnt able to talk with her b4 or after the tx. So hows the fishing going now. It was pretty good b4 I left. We were catching them on shakey head jigs with finesse worms. Can anyone give me any reports? Thanks the truckin lady.emoCool

Thanks Polo Dog its late and I didnt look at it I drive an 18 wheeler its been a long 3 weeks. When I get home and get out on the lake I will send in some reports. Thanks again.emoLaugh

According to Channel 12 ... fishing should be excellent ALL DAY LONG. I wish I could go to see if they are right. Some of you folks get out there and let's see if their fishing reports hold T Rue!

The fishing is ALWAYS excellent! However, sometimes the catching sucks. Looks like they were wrong on the cats but right on the bass! It was a great day for me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be putting in at grasshopper. I was wondering were are some places to go to catch some at least 15 inch Bass. I'm from Ocoee and I know parksville lake pretty well, but Chickamaga is all new to me. Please someone help. I gotta a tournament this weekend and don't want to blank.

Welcome, SNCRAC! I generally fish the lower end of the Chick, but I know that G-creek itself isn't a bad place, and there are quite a few excellent spots around the nuke plant and Skull Isl. A good bottom contour map should give you a good idea of where to go...good luck!
