List of ethanol free gas stations

I got gas at Harrison Bay a couple of weeks ago and was told they weren't pumping gas til 2:00 pm then staying open until dark at least for now. I lucked up and paid $2.66 a gallon from gas they had purchased awhile back and it was suppose to go "way up" in the next couple of days and I'm sure it has by now.

The Smile on East Brainerd Rd. still is E free and the Midnight Oil on Rossville Blvd. has E free in mid grade 89 octane and supreme 93 octane only. the 87 octane is E 10. Man, they are dropping fast!

I've heard a SMALL rumor that corn free gas will still be available in 93 octane. They can't just ban it all together, airplanes, (not jets) are not allowed to run Ethanol fuel. Don't auto and marine manufactures have lobbyist in Washington too? There are currently food riots going on overseas. This country has no idea how much using "corn gas" is driving up the price of everything - or they do and just don't care.

I hit the mother load when my business said they would sell me e-free gas from our tank. I'm going to fill up my 30-gallon caddy and it will last me 2 months!

I also question whether or not some of these stations are leaving their ETHANOL FREE stickers up and there not being corn free gas in the pump. Parman Energy told me there is only 1 tank off Bonny Oaks with corn free gas and according to them, once it was gone they weren't getting anymore and that was 2 weeks ago. So back on topic. . . make sure you're actually buying corn free gas and not buying e-10 with a jacked up price.

... and just how do you do that? How would you know if they lie? How does the retailer know that the distributor is telling the truth upon delivery? They could tell you it's E free supreme and then you pump yourself a tank full of kerosene, but how do you know?

I was up in South Pittsburgh today working and for those of you that go down hwy 72 to Guntersville there is a Hi-Tech station right past the 72 split going towards downtown South Pittsburgh that has ethanol free signs up. I didn't stop in to see if was just one brand or all but at least it's an option on the way to the big G.

Re: ethanol free gas

Ethanol free gas.
In Soddy Daisy.
Corner/Intersection of Dallas Hollow and Green Pond Rd, a brand new large gas station called WESLEYS CORNER.
All gas is ethonal free.
Huge entry from either street.
Pumps are at an angle which makes it a boaters delight for ease of getting in and out with your rig no matter how large it is.

How much is gas usually at harrison bay marina? is it cheaper or a whole lot higher. Cause on personal experience marina gas is always very high

Wesley's Corner at Green Pond has been reported here multliple times. I think that all gas comes ethenol free and it is mixed after it arrives. Does anyhoine know it that's correct. Ethenol free seems to be on the increase. In fact, if everyone would go out of their way to buy it I think we could turn this around.... Some of the Hi Tech stations advertise selling both (also previously reported), but not all of them so watch before you buy.

I was told by someone it was because it had something to do with being associated with the state park. I really don't know the particulars as to why but I do know it's cheaper there than any other marina so I'm thinking it is related to that. I know the other marinas always have it a lot higher. Maybe I'll ask someone in the office - I'm heading over there in a few. I know it usually runs in the same ballpark as what you pay for gas for you car. The $2.66 I paid awhile back was from an old shipment when prices were much lower and they just stuck with that price until they were out - which was nice.

This past weekend the Pure on Bonny Oaks across from the old Governors still had 100% gas and Midnight oil at Jersey Pike and Bonny Oaks still had it.

You buy a gasohol tester made by Briggs & Stratton, part # 795161 and test the gas yourself.

The Spirit station at Gadd Rd & Dayton Blvd in Red Bank claims to have ethanol-free gas.

What concerns me is whether or not to trust the dealer. The Save-A-Ton across from Walmart on 153 (my local station) claims that their 87 octane is the only grade that has ethanol in it. Of, course, that means you have to pay extra to get ethanol-free gas.
