lower unit 2.5 Xr6 '95

just had lower work reverse gear replaced and bearings not sure what all $833.00 worth now wining like a sirein clucking sounds rattle sounds motor seem to be bogged down alittle too get back home pull the lower drain plug screw lots of metal big peases you can see and feel. what kind of damage this do to bearings and new gears am I looking a rebiuld or replase?

I'd say Your looking at new gears and bearings. Big Chunks means BIG TROUBLE
