I had told LB that I was going to stop by today, at lunch, and check a few things out. I ended up getting another rod, some weedless jigheads, a visor with Pro Lures on embrioded on it, and the little golden hook hat clips.

It was great to get away from work for a while and chat with some fellow anglers. LB is a great guy, and he will shoot ya straight when it comes to fishing stuff.

I might have to stop in a few more days during lunch. :)

I got a 6'8" MH CastAway casting rod, to put my Curado on, since I replaced the Curado on my 7'0" witht he Pinnacle reel I got over the weekend. Looks like, before too long, a 3rd rod and a reel to go with it will be coming home. :)

LB and Phil, thanks for the hospitality today. :)

Yea Pro Lure has a pretty neat selection, LB seems like an A-OK guy and is always willing to help you out, sometimes Phil doesn't seem too excited about helping out, but overall Pro Lure is not too bad! (I like my Dr. Death shirt) emoThumbsup

Just wandering where is this located from chatt? Do they have a big selection/ and what are the hours? Thanks for your time..

Their on Glenwood Perch, Glenwood runs north and south it's the first street east of the tracks, you can't miss them theres a 30 ft bass painted on the side
of a brick building.

Perch, take I-75 S. to Exit 336 (Dalton/Rocky Face). Watch out for the exit ramp, cause it's a giant loop, and going too fast will cause some problems. When you take the exit ramp, continue to bear to the right, and go under the overpass. This is Hwy. 41 in Rocky Face.

You will go through 5 traffic lights...........at the 6th, you will be sitting at the intersection of the North Bypass and the Cleveland Hwy. Make a right. You will go through 6 or 7 traffic lights. Once you pass GORDON ST., look to your right, and you will see Pro Lures. It's a big brick buidling, with the aforementioned bass on the side.

If you go past the Shaw Employment Center, you have gone too far. Also, if you make it to Morris St., you have went too far.

If you have any problems, get the # above for Pro Lures, or call me. I will drop you a PM with my #. I work in Dalton, and I drive around most of the day, making deliveries. :)

Phil is a good guy. You just have to approach him the right way. ;)

I am hoping that I can get over there tomorrow, for a little while, from 12-1.

Store hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Friday..... We do have a good selection, we offer a lot of different custom made baits like hand tied jigs, spinnerbaits, and custom jig-heads ect...... Come in and check us out,

Will get there ASAP. Glad to hear the AD is paying off. To me this advertising, at that price is really a true bargain.

I have been doing business with Phil for over 10 years. He has a good selection of bass tackle and custom made baits. He has always been helpful and easy for me to deal with. Although I don't bass fish much any more I still get some of my dipping die and line from him as well as some of my catfish rods.

I used to go in there allot but I haven't been in a few years. I haven't fished much in the past few years either.
It's a good store.

Made it Friday to check out rod selection. It was a pleasure meeting Phil. I plan on going back to get a few more rods in the next week or 2....

Thanks for coming in, was there a Chevy Tahoe and Triton parked outside when you got there?

LB

Well, I hate that I didn't get the chance to get in there. We are having to deliver mad materials to Ringgold, for Heritage High School. We weren't busy at work, until the order we had for them could be sent out, and it ended up taking almost 2 1/2 hours to get it done and over with. So, I didn't get to take a lunch until 1 PM, and I had to take care of the mechanic that repaired my truck.

Glad that you made it down, Perch. I really like the selection that Phil has, and I will be in there as often as I can. :)

Yes, the Tahoe and Triton were parked outside. I was the guy in the Loomis hat. I believe you were there when I was LB. Thanks for the info nwgabassmaster.

Not a problem, bud. I just hope that you had a great time touring the store, and that you saw some stuff that you will come back to get. :)

Again, I apologize that I didn't get around to getting over there. I literally work 3 minutes from there, but I don't get the chance to stop in each day, like I would like to.
