Its almost April and I havent fished a day yet. Been busy working with my new hunting partner on a daily and weekend basis, redoing my duckboat etc. etc. The dog has been doing great for 7 months. He has been introduced to birds, shot over and has been retrieving on both land and water. He has been doing awesome with basic obedience. THis is the first lab I have had other than that all my experince has been with spaniels hunting upland birds. The only issue Im having is holding the dummy when bringing it back, he wants to drop it, or hand it to me. We are working on that and will get there. Enjoy the pics

Beautiful lab right there! They are fantastic animals, both as pets and as hunters. I've had several over the years and will never have another breed

Took me a minute to figure how to post a photo, here is my Labrador with her bumper AKA 'Big Orange' looking out on the lake this winter.

Just be careful training with the choke collar on. I've seen dogs get limbs an sticks caught between there collar an skin an cant get loose. Great looking pup, Good luck.

Good lookin dog. You guys know that dogs are color blind, dont you? When you are training a young dog, its adviseable to use any other color besides orange or black. The orange looks like a dull gray in your dogs eyes. Just a pointer. Keep up the good work.
