Steve, I haven't been on here in a few days & this is the first I have heard of this. As soon as I am done typing here, I will be getting on bent knees to pray for your son, you & your family. & yes you are right, PRAYER WORKS!! I know this as well!! Don't hesitate to holler if ya need me. It wasn't coincidence that you & I ran across each other at critical times in our lives. Holler if ya need me. Thanks to all for your prayers.But no change today. They are tacking Cody to surgery in the morning to perform a (sp.) treykeyotame. They couldn't give a for sure time. When they try to ease back on the sedation meds. he fight them really bad so may be if they canget that tube out of his mouth they can ease back on the meds& he can get some strength back & not need the breathing help. I'm reallysorry I can't give more details but I can't take it when the nursestarts explaining it to me. And I have to try& get my mind on something else. There have been no changes in Cody's condition. But as long as he's not getting worse he should be healing. He's having reconstructive surgery on the fractures to his face Thursday morning, so please pray all goes well. Thanks for your prayers & please keep them coming for a while. The nurse says 6 months - 1 year would be a fast recovery. Thank you all!!! emoAngel

Prayers are helping! Nurse said Cody kind of sat up in be today & hisMothersaid he gave her a thumbs up a few times. I post this chocking back tears of mixed emotion. Joy, fear, sorrow, you name it.My emotions have been all over the board. Anduntil I step back & realize it's not about or up to me. I can do nothing but pray, have faith& try to be strong.
