Political Forum Vote Results

I have posted about as much as anyone in here. But have come to realize that very very few in here really want to discuss issues or debate topics. There have been racists remarks, and cartoons posted, comparisons to Adoft Hitler, which has made me come to the conclusion that a "real" Political Forum is not possible where one side is out numbered 10 -1 and therfore should not be a part of CFF, Thats why I voted "no". But I understand that this is not Outcaster's CFF, and tha majority and admins can do what they want. I could ask for a refund, but this forum is free for all of us. VLDVEE is right, I sould not click in here, but at least for me, the political forum is like a car crash, you just have to look. So bash away.... I'm gonna go catch some fish.

I for one have appreciated the posts of yours that were insightful and had a viewpoint other than mine. We all get too comfortable if our ideas are never challenged and I for one am glad for the discussion. Whether we agree or not on politics I would love to go fishing sometime...

The Constitution of the United states wasn't written on a democratic form of government. It was written and based on a Republic government. If most people would read what the two different parties really meant I would say there would be a lot of side changing unless you want to be told and controlled by a few.

You're right... I like talking to people that can make me think. We'll go fishing sometime soon.... I'm not guiding much anymore and don't care to fish tx's #1 rule on my boat: no talking about politics, religion, or work. 2#rule: DO NOT, repeat DO NOT catch a fish on the first cast or drop.

Do you really think that would have changed the outcome ?</p>

The Poll was put where it should have been. If the Mods had called all 5000+ members and took the vote by phone that would probably have been wrong too. If Wally on talk radio had took the count, that would probably have been wrong too. How about the front page of the TFP ?</p>

Although this was the first popular vote attempt to remove this forum, it wasn't the first try. Shortly after it started, some of the very same ones that wanted it removed this time tried to have it removed then. With less than 1/50th of the members voting, looks like the majority of members could care lessabout it.</p>

I don't have a preference as to whether it stays or goesbut I do think that the voters have elected to keep it and we should respect that and the fact that we were given a choice in the first place and the Mods and Admins deserve a thanks for doing it.</p>

CFF is exactly what you make of it. All the great fishing information and sharing is still here.</p>

You hit the nail right square on the head Wayne. Because the outcome was not what some wanted they are looking for reasons to discredit the process. The Admin's here did not even have to do anything. They could have just said forget you to the whiners and let it go at that. They bent over backward to try to please everyone but they still get bitched at and falsely accused. Some simply cannot be pleased.
