Did we ever get an answer as to why those opposed to it post to the forum so often? If you don't want it, then stay away from it...

Do you really think that would have changed the outcome ?
Yes I do. Those other 4,800+ may have a different opinion than the PD regulars.

I do stay out of the PD forum for the most part but I really wish there was a way I could block that entire forum just like I can block individual posters...I would rather not even see those posts on top when I log on.

What do you think their opinion would have been ? Give us percentages or numbers of those that would have voted yes or no. Also would like a count on how many cannot control their mouse when they are given a choice to click.

... you know, I hate turnip greens! Can't even stand to smell them cooking and the taste makes me gag. So, you know what? I stay away from them and avoid any contact with them at all cost. If you don't like the political forum, don't read or get on it! How smart do you have to be to figure that out!? And that gentlemen, is the reason they make strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream! Everybody doesn't like the same thing!

I don't know I am not a pollster, however it is pretty obvious a large percentage of members avoid posting in the PD area. I assume that their is also a sizable percentage that do not enter the PD area too.

As I recollect, there was a call to poll the CFF members if they wanted or did not want the PD area (ie inclusive). I don't remember anyone asking for a poll of the PD regulars to see if they wanted to keep a subforum open that they were already using (ie exclusive).

Also would like a count on how many cannot control their mouse when they are given a choice to click.
Stick to fishing, cause your comedy bit is not up to snuff. emoIdea emoPoke

Geez...If what you say is true, and ifthe one calling for a poll had wanted everyone to participate, then why did he post his request under the political discussion forum where most people dare to tread, instead of on the general discussion forum?

Here is a better idea. It seems to me that many users gain their posts from either this forum, or by creating an account with the sole intent of selling something. If we would all put forth the effort to post more fishing related items, especially reports, then we would all be better off.

Hmmmmmmmmm Let it go...
