Hey all, I'm about tired of all the trouble when i need to back up and hook up to my boat with my truck or ATV. I think I'm frustrated enough to purchase a wireless portable back up camera system. My truck doesn't have a camera. I've looked at a couple such as the iball camera which is $169.99. Does any of you have such a device and if so do you like it. I need it to be portable since I will be using it with the truck and the 4 wheeler. I'm cheap but i don't want junk. This may sound crazy but has anyone tried using two cell phones in the mode where you can see each other. I thought maybe I could use two phones in that mode and position one of the phones so it is looking down at the trailer hitch, don't know if that would work or not and of course the downside is that I would have to have access to my wife's phone whenever I wanted to hook up the boat. I started thinking of things that would make my life easier and I think being able to just back up and get the ball under the hitch without a bunch of starts and stops, getting in and out and hitting my bumper on the trailer tongue would be worth spending some money. If you have something like this that works please give a recommendation. Thanks emoAngel

Snake Man, I bought the Peak brand at WallyWorld for around $99 it works great. Just mount the camera above your tag connect the wire to the backup light circuit and put the display on your dash or windshield, suction cup mount and plug it into the cig or accessory port and your done! They also have night vision built in. and at $99 you can buy 2 and not have to deal with the hassle of moving things back and forth.

Try the magnetic antennas with a tennis ball on the top. You align the tennis balls and you should be really close. It's called a hitch alignment system. I'll post a pic. I used these for years till I got a brand new ram with a back up camera.

Wondering if you can get a bluetooth wireless camera and app for an Android or i phone

Great suggestion, I just purchased a Rampage 7710 Bluetooth camera that displays on I-phone. Purchased through e-bay it was less than $90.00. Hope it works, I'll post a review once I've used it. Thanks for all the great advice everyone. I almost got the iball system which I think is a great product from an American company but it is $170.00. The Bluetooth camera should take care of what I need. I hope you all had a great Christmas and will have a very Happy New Year and blessed 2018 emoAngel
