Through trial and error, bout an hour and a half to be exact, I learned when replacing the fuel pickup hoses and bulb, you have to prime the new bulb by holding the long portion of the hose up in the air and pumping the bulb while its attached to both the gas tank and the motor. I tried just about everything in the book before i did that to prime it, and i was begining to think i had a faulty bulb.emoDoh This maybe a simple problem to have for experienced boaters, but if your a beginer boat mechanic like me, this might save somebody some time in the future.
