While I have a moral objection to Prostitution, I dont think the government has any biz making laws against it. Hell, go to New York or Kalifrnia and you will see PLENTY of cases of legal prostitues in the form of trophy wives......just sayin.

I agree! The gov has no business playing God. Its not there job to make moral decisions.

If one person is not depriving another of life, liberty, or property I see no reason for government to make any action illegal. The one caveat that I will make is it applies to consenting adults only.

I guess all of y'all that think prostitution should be legal would have no problem with your sisters taking up the trade? How about your daughters?

Your getting back into the Moral objection. Legal and Moral are two different things. </p>

Not what I would want either of them to do but it should be their choice to make, not yours or mine and certainly not any level of governments.

Obviously not or it would be legal.

In a 131-page ruling, Judge Susan Himel found national laws banning brothels, solicitation of clients and managing sex workers violated a provision of the constitution guaranteeing "the right to life, liberty and security".

The Canadians are only trying to catch up to the the United States where prostitution is already legal!

I'm beginning to regret I found and posted this story.

Lighten up guys,

Please.

We're all friends here!

I dont want any woman to "take up the trade". Its sad that anyone would have such lack of self-respect, but moral issues should be between those who make their own decisions and God.

Same thing with adults using drugs. If they want to abuse alcohol, drugs or what ever they abuse, as long as it doesnt hurt anyone else, so be it. They will have to pay the concequences.
