Number 3 detonation. Not bad but did transfer aluminium to the wall. Piston was deteriating.

Did it just gall the piston? This is the first I've heard about it....not sure if that was the ignition I traded James for the CDM ignition...

IT IS YOUR FAULT MATT!!!! No, these were a set of boxes that were suppose to only have 10hrs on it and would pass for new. The engine they came off of had 2 gaulded cylinders. Fuel was full of water so I chocked it up to the water. You seen how my exhaust is cut, it will burn the paint off the lower. The port side was sooty and looked normal the starboard side was CLEAN and Wes noticed it , a few minutes before it blew, as we raised the engine to propshaft 1" above the pad. Saw no power loss just started knocking. It was not your switchboxes, I should have indexed and checked the timing on all 6, But that still may not have prevented it. That is the whole reason they get replaced when I build one for a customer. You rode in the boat. Pulled good for 5 cylinders huh........ Wait untill it is ready for round 2 ported to a 260!!!emoEek emoEek emoEek emoEek emoEek emoEek </p>

Here is a buddy of mine running a 3.0L omc (like skeeters I am building) and he has the same engine I have except (2.5 175) but his is carbed. The OMC dynoed 297 at the prop. These guys run each other often. This was this year.....

I CANNOT believe that thing was only pulling on 5.....That was the HARDEST holeshot I have ever experienced....On 6 healthy-firing cylinders, you crazy-people are gonna need neck braces!!!!! Let me know how many prop-shafts you twist in two...

Mine (James is building now) is going on a 20' Javelin. James has Bad Idea A.K.A. Death Trap..... Very light. and I aini't sure about M GO BLUE
