Thank you for the invite! I have a few other things I need to do before I'm quite ready:

1). Find/install jack-plate
2). Find/install Hot-foot
3). Low-water pickup gearcase?!?!?!

...and finally, find MONEY to do it all!.....

I will be in touch!

The one my 5 cylinder engine was on was a 19V bullet. 1:87 lower with LWP and 26 chopper. Trying to get some seat time in . We got 78 GPS at 6200 but was having trim bleeding problems and engine problems. Boat had more as was not fully on pad and could bump the trim and watch GPS jump 2-3 MPH but almost instantly would drop as the trim was going negative. Was a hand full. I have a buddy with a modified 2.4 XR-4 on a 19V turning a 30P spinnelli (spelling) GPS 96.5!!! The origineal 2.0L is now being modified/built for it and should run the same speeds or more that the 2.5 was It will be on the same mid with same lower. The 2.5 will go back on after it is cut to 260 specs and put back together, it may find itself on a new carb diet as the EFI is being difficult to tune without a custom fuel curve. That is why it is a "TEST" engine. Trying to see what porting will allow the 225 ECU to feed it correctly as it is a 5 pedal front it was lean with the 200 ECU and rich with the 225 ECU. I have to port it to utilize the available fuel and find the "happy" median.

My DEATH trap is a 17' hydrasport that has been gutted and hull weight is around 350#. It is now a stringer boat. No floor. In stock form with a 2.0L 175 (77 model) I have been told by 3 different people they would run low-mid 80's. I have a 2.5 that will be cut to make 330HP @ 8500 RPM's. Hence the name "BAD IDEAL"" Here is the pics of the death trap....

May take you up on the prop tests when we get it going..... Thanks for the offer!!!!

Got ya covered on the gear case Matt. Not all boats will benefit from a LWP. If you can't utilize it, it will slow most boats down 4 MPH due to increase drag of the additional lenth.

James, just break down and get the Brucato ECU!!!!! I'll likely end up putting a Bob's kit on my existing gearcase (May have you tack-weld it on for me as I don't have a TIG setup)...but I'm honestly not in a huge hurry...Just havin fun being able to fish again...wanna make sure I get a GOOD break-in done before I start to play again!

yes some of the props for sale 28 chopper $200 29 srx $325 with thrust washer and locking nut props are 9.5 out 10.I have the brucato computer on my bullet
with 8500 limiters 2.5 225 promax ports cleaned a little steel bearing cages all new crank, pistons, injectors flowed by brucato.still trying to find the right prop
have tried probably 25 different props it takes time to get it set up right.

Interested in 28 chopper for some 26 CC heads??????These are "o" ring heads cut down.

It is hard to get tuned. Tony owes me a injector clean. I just spent 11 hours reformating the form for sending in injectors for them. I made it a active form and modified the manual form. Linda should have it on the site soon. The Brucato PCU is the way to go. Do you have the program for the laptop?? I just can't afford dumping that kind of money into it.

I started out with a 175 idle relief block and ported to 225 PM specs but being 5 pedal it will not make that. 225 ECU puts more fuel in than it can burn currently. I will port to 260 specs and it should use the additional fuel. Once I get a base line, I can put some carbs on and see what the differences are. I have the stuff to build a pro max copybut where is the fun in that????? The 5 pedal do very well under 7K where I plan on running this. It has cast pistons and a 6800 limiter.

i dont need any heads i have 150 psi now dont need any more i fish every week. i had a 280 it aint no fishing motor
i burned 30 gallon of gas from chester frost to hiwassee island and back to chester frost in one tournament and never opened it up

150psi is the "SAFE" limit for 93 octane. I have heard of people running 155 -160 PSI on pump fuel. Smalll prop will "richen" a engine and a big prop will "lean" one out due to it has to work harder and takes the fuel to make the rpm. In other words it has to feed the fire. I have several running around with 148-149 on the 2.0L's.

The 26CC head requires a race fuel blend or aces additive.

That sounds like something was awfully wrong to use that much. Even with a 280, that sounds like requiring several gallons per mile not miles per gallon. But have seen stranger things........

that what i say i filled up before the tournament and after the tournament on my way home i thought my gas gauge was wrong but it was right.i would not go above 150 psi on pump gas no way i wish mine was 145 psi but it seems to be fine with 150psi when it blows i will build another one.it has lasted all year with 150psi i hope it will last several more

Me either.... Just other people experiences. There are alot of factors to consider from a melt down. 150 is still in the safe zone as long as your are 100% sure on the quaility of fuel.

What do you have 33 CC heads? If they are 34CC You may look at your head gaskets. If it has 1.0MM going to the 1.2 will put it right at 145.

With HP comes effiency. Most of the time a high performance engine uses less fuel due to making more power on less fuel and at cruising at 3500-4000 most 2 stokes are very efficient. But when turning 7500 that is a different story.........
