Ok here is an example of what will happen in UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE comes about..........

Ok my dads house just got flooded and he has Flood Insurance through state farm....... BUT ALL FLOOD INSURANCE IS FUNDED BY FEMA EVEN IF YOU BUY IT THROUGH AND AGENT!!!!

OK now he has filed a claim and has been notified that his rates will INCREASE BY 40% 40 FREAKING PERCENT

ITS IN THE FINE PRINT!!! BUT HE HAS TO HAVE IT NO MATTER WHAT THE FINE PRINT IS!!!!!

Now when you go to the doctor for something somewhat NOT routine one time JUST ONCE..... those rate WILL INCREASE Ill BET A PAYCHECK ON IT!!!! IF THIS GETS PASSED!!!

Now i understand that insurance goes up now if you use it alot but not 40% at once!!!

NOW PUT THAT IN YOUR OBAMA PIPE AND SMOKE IT

What you are talking about didn't just happen in the last nine months, the insurance companies charge what they want to and go up when they want to and always have, there are no controls on them. You either buy it for what it costs or you go somewhere else. What you are saying about your dad is unrealistic but I don't doubt any of it.</p>

"You either buy it for what it costs or you go somewhere else." Ahhh the competitive free market idea.

Public schools, SS, welfare, public transportation, TN care like most other government programs have failed or will fail in the very near future. Just like universal health care will fail without taxing the everyday working stiff to his grave.

Lets do away with it then and let those that benifit from it the most pay for it. Example, Walmart benifits from an educated work force, roads, cheap electricity, military to protect their investment more than I do. Let those that benifit from us working stiffs pay for it. I am with you.

The gov't doesn't do anything efficiently. For example in Dalton our local gov't just spent 250,000.00 that was matched by the state so 500,000. total on a old train depot so people can come to our wonderful town and watch trains go by. All they did was remodel an old 2000 sq ft building. Do you libs realize what could have been built privately with half a million dollars. This is just on a local level I can't imagine the feds taking over health care it will be a disaster. More people will die because of it. They will die from not getting timely treatment and our survival rates for disease will decrease just like in other countries with socialized medicine. So go ahead support socialized medicine but realize that in doing so you will be signing many peoples death certificates.

Put 45cent stamp on a letter and it can get to someone on the other end of the country in three days. Pretty efficient to me. I think the military does a good job. Seeing how we educate EVERYONE in our country not just the chosen few with money, our schools do a good job, could go on and on.

Is this the same Post Office that is considering going from 6 days to 4 days per week due to loosing money, closing branches all over the country?

The democrat post office is the one loosing money, the republican post office is running full swing and hiring like mad.

IT MIGHT SOUND UNREALISTIC BUT I CAN PROVE IT TO YOU IF YOU WANT...... CAME STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FEMA REPS MOUTH!!!! AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the millitary has the largest budget in the world aka our tax dollars and they are far from efficient. Example I have a family member that was in the Marines in Iraq his last job before they could come home was to bury or detonate millions of tons of ordinance and explosives that we had shipped over for use in the war but had to waste because we didn't need it after all. He said they dug hundreds of holes the size of football fields to dump these munitions in. I guess that was the most efficient thing to do. And of course I shouldn't even have to start with our wonderful gov't run public school system whose failures are so great they are for the most part an injustice to our youth. For example Washington DC's school system who spends the most per student in the entire country has like a 70 percent drop out rate and ranks 51st in test scores in the entire country. Should I go on. Oh yes, and back to Washington schools they had a successful voucher program for underprivalaged mostly minority children whos parents wanted better results that was discontinued by the locally elected democratic leaders. Still waiting on a good comeback.....

So are you saying privatize the military and educational system?

I don't think you could privatize the military though Blackwater has done that to an extent and I think been successful. We will probably just have to grin and bear the wasteful military spending but it could be better if you could kick the lobby out. I am all for privatizing the school system I believe it would be one of the best things you could do in the country. You could kick out the deadbeat kids who disrupt class and let their deadbeat parents try handle them. I bet if you had real accountability we would have less deadbeats in school. The general argument for capitalism is that you have to work hard and make good decisions to be successful and can be applied to any application. It encourages hard work and rewards those that do. Whereas socialism does the opposite in punishing hard work and encourages laziness.

That is the root of almost all of the problems we have today. The biggest part of our population has no accountability or desire to have any.

Capitalism failed in the 1920's, if the wealth is not spread properly, the lack of reinvestment leads to market collapse. For a country to prosper it must be stable. Able to protect itself, strong infrustucture, and have an educated workforse. None of which the private sector is capable of doing. The world is headed to mixed economic systems just like the U.S. The private sector cares about one thing, profit which is good, it has its place, but not in determining the future or health of America. If the private sector ran this country you would have social darwinism, were only a few would eventually control the wealth, while the rest would be at their mercy and work and live however they see fit. History tells us this.

What history shows us is many failed socialist countries like Nazi Germany, Red China, and the Soviet Union just to name a few. For times sake I will not get in to any of the African Nations. Not to mention all the great human atrocities that took place and are currently taking place under the curtain of Socialism. To the contrary pure capitalism will never fail. Sure certain companies will fail but their assets will be bought by competitors or entrepreneurs who will continue to provide the products and services under a different name. Plus these companies will employ many people and I will use your term "spread the wealth" much more efficiently than the gov't can. Your darn right profit is good you wouldn't have a job without it. Ask yourself who controls the real wealth in the country now hmmmm let me think in the past six months the gov't has taken over the largest company in the world in GM, they have taken over a vast amount of the financial system, and now are aiming for another takeover of 6% of our economy in controlling healthcare. So who's mercy will we be at if you said the gov't go to the front of the class. The real question is do you trust them? I sure as hell do not.

This is the direct result of removing prayer from schools, removing God from anything public and murdering 4000 innocent human beings everyday.

Not to sound like a lib but last I checked Cheez an individual can still pray in school it just can't be disruptive or organized by the school. If I am wrong please correct.

Most of those countries you mentioned were either Communist or Facist. not socialist like many European countries today. What atrocities are you talking about? Pure Capitalism has failed evidence is all the safety nets that exist, i.e. Bankruptcy, Monopaly Laws, FDIC, Tarrifs, Social Security, Substidies, minimum wage, labor laws, and unemployment just to name a few, under pure capitalism none of those things exist. You work for what someone is willing to pay. You get sick too bad. Bank goes under money goes away. Walmart runs everyone out, controls prices and labor. Raise Tarrifs to avoid compitetion. The puppit gov't provides sustidies to business just like the early Railroads and steal industries. Last people work for Slave wages. There is your da.. Pure Capitalist society. What does it eventually lead too pure market collapse, which is what is being avoided at present time. Not doing so create an avenue for someone to come in and destroy Democracy with their facist or communist view points. Just like what happened in Europe, Soviet Union, and China at the early stage of the 20th century. Mixed economic systems is were the world economies are heading, and to stay competetive that is were we will go and there is not much since in us arguing about it because it is just the nature of what is happening. With the world reaching or outrunning its carrying capacity, we will no longer be able to afford wars in the future, or lack of doing nothing for the poor because we all breath the same air, desease has no friends or foes. By the way if our Gov't had not bailed out these companies that failed under the last administration, you would revisit what many of your Grand parents experience during the 1930's. However, here we go again cleaning up an unregulated mess. To do nothing, you guys don't want that, or maybe you do. That way when things go to he.. you can say see I told you so. Good night> or before i go to bed do I need to define Communism, Democracy, Facism, Dictatorship, as form of governments. With Command economies, market economies, traditional economies, or mixed economic systems being the way those forms of governments may run their economies.
