I would like to hear exactly how the Republicans dropped the ball. I am quite sure it will be liberal propaganda but let's hear it.
Where would you like me to start, 89, 93, 95, 2000, 10-2001, 03-2003, 11-2004, 0r 2008? No propagnada here just my own thoughts, for what they are worth. I know where you are coming from cheez, it is almost like a propaganda war. Believe me the Democrat's in my opinion have done a lot of ball droping themselves, can go there too.
Possum I appreciate your candor. When it is an us vs them propaganda war I will not give much. I fully realize the fact that the problems in our country are a product of bad leadership from BOTH parties. The main cause of all of this countries problems is staring most of us in the mirror every day. Most of us live in the "what is in it for me" mode. Democrats and Republicans alike. If we ALL did what we are supposed to we would not be having the political discussions we do. The government is simply a reflection of America.Spend borrow borrow spend. Promise and lie then borrow and spend some more. Both parties are guilty and were it not for the abortion thing I might lean left a bit more myself.[/QUOTE]
Abortion is where I lean way to the right. We have spent billons of dollars since 72 on education. In 72 ask a 13 year old girl how you have a baby there is no telling what you would hear, It is 2010 almost and I think anyone capable of giving birth should know how that happens, and how to prevent, no matter what means a free society chooses. It is a life, soul and has a destiny. Abortion should be the 28th amendment to the constitution in my opinion, although I am not sure the 14th, and 15th does not ensure the child the right to live. This is a supreme court issue that Americans should direct their attention to, not some political party. It is an abomination of if not God, but our failure as mankind. Everytime I ask my students in a survey about abortion, they almost all agree except for a very limited few.... it is wrong, if not evil.. I can see certain circumstances. If you could ask the unborn child what would it would choose, ask yourself what you would choose. It breaks my heart. I wish I was rich, I would have a house full. Cheez don't worry we still have prayer in school, after school, and when ever we feel the need. Most of us Teachers and coaches don't value our jobs as much to exclude God. Noone can stop a child from praying. We have FCA, Fellowship of Christian athletes. It would be nice is people would believe in the future of America because we have some very special kids. They are not even close to being all bad. For every bad thing, I can list 100's of good. Too bad Abortion is even a political issue. Maybe it should be a single issue of a third party, would not get elected, but would bring attention to it. Pleasy v. Ferguson in 1896 made it leagal to segragate White and black society, ruling seperate but equal is equal, as long as services is provided for both what difference does it make. 52, Brown v. Board of education Seperate but equal is inherantly unequal, even though on paper it is equal in reality it is not. It has been almost 40 years since Roe v. Wade. You would think any civilized court system would find this a "ripe" case. Sinerio, girl gets pregnate, boy goes goes war and dies, girl decides to abort, come on, she along does not have the right to choose. There is no such thing as freedom of choise when it comes to life. I think the Democrats drop the ball here if they don't bring this issue up for debate. Most Democrats do not agree with abortion. neither do Republicans. time is now to amend the constitution to ensure the most basic freedom....Right to life! Yes on the second issue, when I go to Laffite or Vienice, La to fish, I will be carrying a gun ready to go, legal or not, if I get broke down near New Orleans, I am going to protect my right to life. Cheez I am with you all the way here.
