Hmmm Nazi party stood for National Socialistic party. As far as atrocities go do you recall the Holocaust? Or was the genocide of 6,000,000.00 Jews not atrocious enough. Or lets take Communism where there are some Jewish families still rotting in the gulags of Siberia. Or how about Paul Pot's Fascist regime that murdered some 3,000,000.00 infidels. Socialism has many names call it Communism, Marxism, or Fascism its all the same with some jerk up in Washington or maybe in Moscow taking my money and giving it to someone who is undeserving so he can be re-elected. Most of the regulations you talk about only hinder prosperity. Take minimum wage for example. As a business owner do you want to pay someone what they are worth or pay someone what the gov't tells you to pay. Maybe if minimum wage goes up business owners get rid of someone's job. Maybe its the teenager working a summer job to save money for college. Or maybe it is the senior citizen greeter at the Wal-mart working so she doesn't have to be shut in. Could we say from what we know about economic theory that if you have mandatory pay increases that in turn creates higher unemployment? The choices that are made have consequences and the ball never stops bouncing. I'm tired now going to bed....

Not to sound like a lib but last I checked Cheez an individual can still pray in school it just can't be disruptive or organized by the school. If I am wrong please correct.

Around here that is true but in many areas of the country they cannot. My main point was that taking prayer out of the schools was the first of many steps toward the decline of this country.

Look at the stink that is being raised at LFO Highschool. Prime example of our decay.

Does not matter what they called it, the examples snip used were caused by military dictatorships. Don't forget Franco of spain why you guys are at it. Germany, Spain, Italy, and Russia were all military dictatorships (fascism) what they said and did are two different things. That is the problem with society, they pay to much attention to what they are being told, instead of what is really happening. The Utopian societies those dictators promised was mearly comoflage for their own vindictive agendas. America will never be a socialist county, or communist, however just like the KKK in the 20's, McCarthy in the 50's, it seems when the Republican party no longer has a political platform to stand on they turn to propaganda. The Republican party had full control of congress and the executive, and they dropped the ball. Enough said.

I would like to hear exactly how the Republicans dropped the ball. I am quite sure it will be liberal propaganda but let's hear it.

Where would you like me to start, 89, 93, 95, 2000, 10-2001, 03-2003, 11-2004, 0r 2008? No propagnada here just my own thoughts, for what they are worth. I know where you are coming from cheez, it is almost like a propaganda war. Believe me the Democrat's in my opinion have done a lot of ball droping themselves, can go there too.

Possum I appreciate your candor. When it is an us vs them propaganda war I will not give much. I fully realize the fact that the problems in our country are a product of bad leadership from BOTH parties. The main cause of all of this countries problems is staring most of us in the mirror every day. Most of us live in the "what is in it for me" mode. Democrats and Republicans alike. If we ALL did what we are supposed to we would not be having the political discussions we do. The government is simply a reflection of America.Spend borrow borrow spend. Promise and lie then borrow and spend some more. Both parties are guilty and were it not for the abortion thing I might lean left a bit more myself.

Abortion is where I lean way to the right. We have spent billons of dollars since 72 on education. In 72 ask a 13 year old girl how you have a baby there is no telling what you would hear, It is 2010 almost and I think anyone capable of giving birth should know how that happens, and how to prevent, no matter what means a free society chooses. It is a life, soul and has a destiny. Abortion should be the 28th amendment to the constitution in my opinion, although I am not sure the 14th, and 15th does not ensure the child the right to live. This is a supreme court issue that Americans should direct their attention to, not some political party. It is an abomination of if not God, but our failure as mankind. Everytime I ask my students in a survey about abortion, they almost all agree except for a very limited few.... it is wrong, if not evil.. I can see certain circumstances. If you could ask the unborn child what would it would choose, ask yourself what you would choose. It breaks my heart. I wish I was rich, I would have a house full. Cheez don't worry we still have prayer in school, after school, and when ever we feel the need. Most of us Teachers and coaches don't value our jobs as much to exclude God. Noone can stop a child from praying. We have FCA, Fellowship of Christian athletes. It would be nice is people would believe in the future of America because we have some very special kids. They are not even close to being all bad. For every bad thing, I can list 100's of good. Too bad Abortion is even a political issue. Maybe it should be a single issue of a third party, would not get elected, but would bring attention to it. Pleasy v. Ferguson in 1896 made it leagal to segragate White and black society, ruling seperate but equal is equal, as long as services is provided for both what difference does it make. 52, Brown v. Board of education Seperate but equal is inherantly unequal, even though on paper it is equal in reality it is not. It has been almost 40 years since Roe v. Wade. You would think any civilized court system would find this a "ripe" case. Sinerio, girl gets pregnate, boy goes goes war and dies, girl decides to abort, come on, she along does not have the right to choose. There is no such thing as freedom of choise when it comes to life. I think the Democrats drop the ball here if they don't bring this issue up for debate. Most Democrats do not agree with abortion. neither do Republicans. time is now to amend the constitution to ensure the most basic freedom....Right to life! Yes on the second issue, when I go to Laffite or Vienice, La to fish, I will be carrying a gun ready to go, legal or not, if I get broke down near New Orleans, I am going to protect my right to life. Cheez I am with you all the way here.

My views are not anti republican or democrat. I am anti socialism and I feel the country is flirting more and more with these ideas and that will be a grave mistake.
