I have been using these baits for a while now and I love them. When I first started talking to the owner of Secret Weapon Lures I thought, why do I need to buy any more spinnerbaits? I already have over 50+ of them and I hardly use them as it is. Well after I bought a couple of them I was surprised by the craftsmanship of these baits. The heads on these baits are so detailed they look real. One big key factor to me ordering them was that you only need to buy a few different spinnerbaits because of the quick change blade system it only takes seconds to change out the blades instead of cutting the one you have on and tying another one on with different blades. So all you need are few spinnerbait bodies and a handful of blades and you have replaced many heavy tackle boxes of conventional spinnerbaits. I purchased a few mini kits and each kit produces 1000's of different combinations. I used them this past winter when the water temps was in the mid 40's and I needed to slow roll the spinnerbait and slow as I could reel the spinnerbait was still moving. It is the best slow rolling spinnerbait I have ever used because of the free floating blades it lets you reel them slower then most spinnerbaits.

They also have some new buzz baits out on the market. Just as their spinnerbaits they are top notch baits. They are different from normal buzz baits because the head is flat so it allows the bait to get up on the surface quicker than a normal buzz bait. Also the buzz bait is one of the loudest baits that I have used in a while. Normally I will hang a buzz bait out the window or I will tie it to a car antenna so it will make it squeak more. With these baits that is not necessary.

In summary these baits are not widely known so they will give you an edge over the competition. Since you don’t have to purchase a million different spinnerbaits to get the perfect combination it will save you money and on tournament day you can switch from a double Colorado to a tandem willow in less time then it would take you to retie a different spinnerbait on which means more cast and a better chance to catch your limit. Unfortunately no stores around here carry them but they can be purchased from www.secretweaponlures.com

Nice looking spinnerbait. Seems like a solid and well thought out concept, and I'd like to give them a run, but, whew,$49.00 for 4 baits seems a bit steep to me. I wish they sold them as singles with maybe a couple of blade options so I could try one and see how they work for me without having to drop the equivalent of 10 or more other baits at one time. Just my 2cents. Maybe a couple of other bait junkies out there with similar budget concerns would like to go in and split a set and see how they do? I'd be game for that. JC1

I know this sounds crazy but for some reason I can't get on the SWL site..why I don't know emoBang Unless something has changed you can buy a single spinner bait or a mini-kit which is a single spinnerbait and two extra blades. If that is not an option let me know and I will get to another computer to get the link for you.

Also if you want to see some in person let me know and I will be glad to show them to you.

Hmmm. I just went to it straight off of your link, Blake (???). Anyway ... JC1, if you go to the dropdown menu and click on individual lures, it'll give you single bait prices.

Yeah the link I gave will work on the link in my signature will work...both go to the same place..For some reason I just can't get to the site on my computer here at home. emoBang
