I would like to thank all the local Bass Fishermen that participated in our 1st Annual Tournament at Shellmound August 4th. Your participation helped raise over $800.00 for our Middle School Football Program. Your participation has helped purchase Football Jerseys, Helmets, Cleats, and Equipment to our Football program to be successful in 2007-2008. I hope you all had fun and enjoyed the day. 39 Teams and 76 Fishermen participated. Congrat's to all winners. Special Thanks to Vicki of Southern Bass Anglers Trail for assisting us on a voluntary basis. That was awesome. Middle School Football programs really struggle to stay functional due to the school budgets. It is men and women like yourselves that care about the kids that make it possible. Please let us know what we can do better next year for our 2nd Tournament. We appreciate any feedback. Please keep in mind it was our 1st. We are under construction and are willing to make improvements. Special Thanks Go Out to Mark Gillespie who worked many long hard hours on the administration and organization of this tournament. Mark did it all for the (kids). Thanks Mark your awesome.
