Hi Guy,

I am new here, and was hoping somebody would be willing to share some advice. My father has been an avid fisherman for most of his life. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer, and fishing took a backseat for a long time. A couple years later he fell out of a treestand and has not really been able to get back on the water much.

He spent some time recently working on his boat and is finally ready to get it out. He is coming up for a day this weekend from south carolina, for a day of fishing on lake Chickamauga. The trouble is, we are not sure where to start. Is anyone willing to share some areas that we might be able to get him on a few good bass? We were thinking of going out of chester frost.

Any advice on where we could go with good chances of getting on a few, and advice on what to throw would be greatly appreciated This will likely be the only trip we ever get to fish on Chickamauga as I will be moving in a couple of months. Just looking for any information anyone is willing to share to help me make sure i show him a good time!

Thanks!

It went poorly. We fished hard all day Saturday on the water at 7 and off at 6pm, and a few hours on Sunday before he headed back home. Didn't get anything and were very cold. Not the trip i was hoping for. We are going to try to squeeze in one more trip in about 3 weeks before I move up to new england. Any advice would be helpful!
