Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is exactly what they said in the 80's and I watched them drop pellets in the middle of the lake a long way from the shore.

Who is paying for this spraying?? What are the long term effects of the NEW CHEMICAL SPRAY!

Justin are you on the tva payroll or what! It started last year and already more this year and your still in denial

Yeah right. If you would have been at he meeting you you would have known exactly where I stand. What have I denied? I’ll say it again, I don’t think TVA was behind the lack of vegetation on the main river in ‘17. But your gonna have to get a whole hell
Of a lot of people to organize action involving ever level of representative from local to federal to see any change.

EPA approval means nothing now with the clown running it. Do some research on his record of pollution.

Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched an air boat in the islands Saturday night. I thought it’s way too early for now fishing, but maybe it was guys spraying the shoreline???? I sure hope not and I wish I would’ve gotten closer or close enough to see what was up.

I have several friends who have been shooting at night for over a month now. That being said, you should always check it out. You might get that picture of Bigfoot that everyone swears about.

So Justin if we have to organize that many people from all levels in order to see a change in things doesn’t that mean you agree that it’s being killed! All the people in the world at all levels can’t change the weather water clarity and current which is what most are claiming hurt the grass last year! Now your saying that it will take an organized movement??

Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

again, No. I’m saying you need to organize folks if you want the spraying at any level to cease. Water temps and turbity kept the grass from growing last year and you can’t prove that wrong unless you have some solid evidence. Grass dying in some particular spot doesn’t cut it.

Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I hope you’re right Churly. Can’t imagine the lake without some good grass patches

Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So there’s carp up shallow already? Or are they seeing gar? Sorry man I’ve been off the water too much to know what’s up right now. I’m just not used to seeing bow fisherman this early.

Re: Spraying in Park for aquatic vegetation has already started !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been seeing pics of carp and buffalo pretty rugularly from the bow guys.

Bow fishing is a year-round sport for many die-hards, its not just a spring or summer gig. (pun intended)

UMMM... I'm just wondering who is footing the bill for all this spraying. I wouldn't think all the doc owners have pooled their money to spray Chester Frost Park.

Maybe the company spraying will tell who is sending them a check with a phone call?

TVA only has the money allocated to cover access ramps, other public use areas like swimming areas, and water intakes. Homeowners associations pool money to cover certain areas as well as private shoreline owners. It’s expensive. That’s why I don’t think TVA even cares what grows on the river bars an non inhabited shore lines.

Did you get this information from TVA? Were there lips moving when they told you this?
