I'm gonna be a little stinker here... Might want to RE-Write the post since you used the word "decided" instead of using "decide". Look at the wording close since you posted re-read it.

Some might have took it as you should have left off the word "to" and then it that case it would have read...

Hypothetical question:

Would it be impolite to laugh your ass off at your buddy when he hooks the battery AND the fuel primer bulb up backwards and then has to call on you for emergency assistance? emoUpsmile emoUpsmile emoUpsmile

Just askin'..................

Well, I got to hit the lake today, put in at Parksville about 5ish and after a warmup, put the hammer down. I was dissapointed in the speed, it only hit 23 MPH today, but I know I need to change the height of the motor for sure. That should give me a couple more, maybe even 30 but not counting on it at this point. It was a pretty big relief to be running around the lake though, the rest of the work is gravy from here on out.
I did try for a short time for a yellow perch, but no bites and I didnt care much! LOL

I think 23 for a big Toon with all the bells & whistles you've got is pretty darn good.

I can't wait for my first ride....

Spur that is good speed out of that. You are pushing some serious logs thru the water. You can skin the under side and get a little more. I put plates on the back of mine where the water sprays away from the motor and it helped but even at the with me and the wife with 25 gals of fuel 28 is the best I can do. Also if you had the BIMI up then it will drag you down some. Set the motor hight with as lite a load you think you will ever carry. I love mine.

I got my motor raised up where it should be which helped with the backsplash I was getting, added very little to the overall speed, but its at least in the correct place now. Tested it on Parksvlle again tonight. I ave had my Motorguide Digital T motor for a couple years, but its really killer on the toon. Nothing like controlling from 20' away. </p>

I cant remember, its either a 16 or a 19 if I remember what Eric told me it had on it. I want whatever will give me the most top end torque, obviously dont need the hole shot. Any ideas?

Trying to remember, I think it's an aluminum 16" 3-blade. Look at the center of the rear of the hub, it's marked. He hasn't got the tach hooked up yet so we don't know what his WOT rpm is, but it was about 5500 when it was on my center console bay boat.

It will be different on that toon. Spur get the tach hooked up and get you wot rpm's. If you ain't got that you can't tell. I have a 100 hp 2 stroke merc on mine and I am turning 5500 with a 13 pitch prop. But for you to know for sure you need to hook the tach up.

I need to work on the tach, not sure on that Honda wire harness where the connection point is. I know a boat this big will never be a speed machine, but I would like to maximize what I have to work with.
