How can anyone be confident in the abilities of olbummer? His only track record is one of an extreme left wing liberal. emo scratch

For the record I think Bush is already a hero compared to the current president.

"Beloved Ronald Reagan" Thats funny right there. He was lambasted as being too arrogant in his dealings with tyrannical regimes, i.e. Russia, He was too old, out of touch, too stupid, he was "just an actor" the list goes on.
Aside from the too old part, its the same criticisms that folks threw and still throw at Bush. Write this down and put it in your wallet, and in 20 years pull it back out and you will say Spur was right. Bush will look like a hero for his stand against radicals, terrorists, and the liberal detractors on the economy and many other things. The comparisons are eerily similar.

its funny cause I remember Clintons inaugral speech where he was already campaigning for his second term, which I laughed at the time "its going to take 4 years to get started and its going to take 8 to get to where we need to be"

I see a major change coming in Washington where you will see more Republicans in offices than Democrats, If I recall correctly this is similiar to what happened when Clinton took office and he was still able to get some stuff done if I recall correctly. I just pray for our leaders that they are given the wisdom and direction to aid us in turning things around. I will never knock, mock or belittle someone I dont know as I have never walked a mile in their shoes and therefore would not be warranted for myself to pass judgement.

The reason (only) that Clinton was able to accomplish anything with the Republican controlled house and senate was because he moved from the far left toward the center and even adopted several Republican ideas. Olbummer may do this if he is faced with the same scenario after this fall. I kind of doubt it though. I personally think olbummer's pride and arrogance is greater than his desire to do what is right for this country. Also I do not think he has the same intelligence as Clinton. Olbummer is like many have said, a post turtle.

If this statement were true there might be some irony between the two. Fact is that George W. Bush was one of the most popular governors and leaders in the history of Texas. Beating an incumbent governor with 53% of the vote in his first election. Winning re election with 69% of the vote and leaving the governors office with a budget surplus after increasing education funding AND reducing property taxes. Don't think olbummer has quite as good a resume.

Prove to me who has seen his certificate and I don't mean some one just saying he saw it. I want proof. If some one ask for mine I would have a copy of it within reach so why did he and his bunch hold out. Sounds like you have a large set of blinders on.

I guess the public didn't mater to him then. And also I could make that document on my puter not that it matters. I wasn't concerened about it persay but its a common fact the democrates have taken away from the social security system.
