take it all the way down first and start there, did you get a new or reworked 24 or is it used from someone . if the 24 is to small then I have a good 26 that you can try once you get it dialed in

I bought it used, individual. I'll do that and I may take you up on that, I really don't know what it needs. It don't jump out by any stretch but it comes out and rolls over smoothly. I don't have any thing to compare it to though.

I plan on fishin the big fish out of soddy weds evening so if your schedule will allow be glad to show up early and see if we can come up with something. I thinking your motor still needs go down

Probably, I was watching AuburnWes's transom video after James was done with his motor and watching how the water hits the gearcase... I could see the prop and its only half in the water... Amazing.

I am thankful for the "CFF Brain Trust" I met 275prostratos Wednesday evening at Soddy boat ramp. He gave her a look see and right off the bat he said "Your jackplate is on wrong". I'm like, well I'll be d#m, It is on wrong. Just goes to show you what a different set of eyes will do for you. No telling how long the plate has been on there. Now I have to figure out how I'm going find a Sasquatch, I hear they are pretty strong, to hold the motor up while I swap the slide plates around. emoScratch
