Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

This forum is the worst idea... it just brings the worst out in people. Might as well have a XXX forum on here too. I bet the veiw numbers would sky rocket, but it has no business on the Chattanooga fishing forum.
I used to spread the word about this cool forum where people help people try and become better fishermen. Now I don't want to tell someone to come here cause they'll see all this BS. It's worse than a GD beauty shop.
I wonder why DHaun don't post anymore? I bet this ain't the idea he had when he started this awesome resource.
This forum is making me think less of people I used to have a lot of respect for.
How much fun is that going to be next time we have a CFF cookout and all the republicans are on one side and the democrats are on the other.
This forum has to go!

I used to think about this forum in that manner but what the HE double hockey sticks. It is starting to be fun and somebody needs to level the playing field with the bleeding heart liberals or they'll take everything away from the working man (and woman).

I am like Craig on this. If all you come to the CFF for is the fishing part then why open up the political/religious forum. Nobody is forcing anybody to come in here to this "toilet bowl"

Today in school we learned about author's purpose, combining sentences, exponential notation and prime factorization, reviewed angles, shapes, and other geometry terminology, worked on increasing "voice" in writing, studied various types of mountains and how they are formed, rights and responsiblities of citizens, and we even had time to discuss Bernie Madoff and his ponzi scheme as we were discussing taxes and finances.
If any of you folks read this, I'm not poisoning minds of public students. I'm like 95 percent of other teachers busting my butts to help kids learn. I might even be conservative in the 95 percent, as I believe it is 100 percent of teachers busting their behinds at Red Bank Elementary.

Wouldn't want you poisoning my kids minds with your "fishing is fun" stuff and your "rewards" for attendance. Don't need my kids gettin none of that NO SIR!

Bubbakat - 8/28/2009 7:56 PM Maybe we should have a sign up sheet to get in here and we can call it the celler dwellers. emoLaugh

So you are not teaching the theory of evolution or the tolerance of alternative lifestyles. That is great! Keep up the good work Sam. emoThumbsup

My wife is a public school teacher as well. She will not teach the poison either.

Shoot Sam, for what you and Scott do for our kid's future the word "poisoning" should be unconditional slander! emoAngry

This forum already has a name. The Leper Colony.

And you think by coming on here and making a remark like that we will stop coming on.

Best one yet!

Just a thought from someone that doesn't really post here all that much. I moved to this area a little over three years ago from the Texas Gulf Coast. I still belong to quite a few of the fishing boards there and am a moderator on one of those. Almost all have a political/religon board. I've had heated discussions on the boards and there isn't one of those guys/gals I would not hesitate to fish with. We may all be on different sides on the aisle politically, but we all still have one thing in common-a love of the outdoors and a love for our great country. In both cases, we have different ideas of how we can improve both.

Just an idea for the mods here. I don't know if it's possible or not with the program used on this site, but maybe make this forum only visible to members only? This is done with quite a few discussion boards. Another idea is to make the political/religon board special access to members. Those that say they don't want to read the board will not have access and those that do can enter whenever they want. Even though it's special access, the same rules of the site apply. Again, just an idea from a guy that's been around the block a few times on the discussion boards of the internet

You're right timbo. We can have different political views but we can still be cordial. Even with differing political views, I hope we can all work for common goals to protect our right to have differing opinions and talk and write about them. Those of us with different views than others can also work together to protect our RIGHT to hunt and fish which is really what this site is about. Those that do not like this area of the website just don't need to enter this area.

Thank you for your post.
