Time to start again

I'm Allen Strain. I gave up fishing because of three sons involved in several sports. Not sure why I didn't start again after 2007.I have purchased a boat and ready to get started again from scratch. I was mainly a worm fisher when going after bass in lakes with wood lines and wood flats to fish around. So I have to learn a whole new way of fishing on the river here. Not even up on rod and reels or tackle to use in this area (mainly Chattanooga. So advice in these areas are more than welcome. So I am 74 year old in need of a mentor. lol
