I am a Georgia resident and don’t want to direct this at anyone especially not at Dusty since he was volunteered to run this gig, but setting up a tournament in Tennessee and telling the residents of that state that they can’t participate is kind of like going into your neighbor’s yard and starting a pick-up football game and telling your neighbor that he can’t play because he’s too big, too strong and too fast. Something about that just doesn't smell right! If you want to get better you play against better competition!
There’s been a couple of replies posted about the Lamb’s and even a couple by Haden himself so I’m going to quote someone that I highly respect and consider a very good friend, Haden’s granddad Mr. Don Lamb, but before I quote him I want to first say that most all of the weeknight dog fights that I’m aware of are pretty low cost entry fees. So here goes with the quote! “I fish tournaments to have FUN, If we’re fishing for money we are most likely fishing at the wrong level” So in other words, go out fish your dog fight and have fun with it!!! That’s what they are for, definitely not to get rich! So go fish and have fun and when you win some money consider it one of God’s blessings. If you can’t afford to loose your entry fee then shouldn’t compete in tournaments.
And by the way, I am still boatless as of now and am getting to fish very little so if someone has a back seat I’ll be glad to come and fish and I could really care less if Tennessee residents are competing because I'll just be happy to be there competing and having FUN!!!
