Tuesday night dogfight

Dusty, I haven't fished any dogfights yet this year, nor was a bashing the idea. Just simply saying there would be a better turnout if it was open to all parties.

I am just messing with you Haden. We will see how it goes and maybe open it to one guy in the boat must be from Georgia. When u coming to fish te Thursday nighters so I can quite haha

So do the Lake Winnepesaukah elites start next Tuesday? Me and Chase may come play

HA!!! That's funny.

I probably couldn't make a lot of them but I would try to make a few.

LOL I don't. I work too much once winter is over. I cant get the fish to bite a rig and my shoulders are too strong from throwing it all winter to throw anything small.

I am a Georgia resident and don’t want to direct this at anyone especially not at Dusty since he was volunteered to run this gig, but setting up a tournament in Tennessee and telling the residents of that state that they can’t participate is kind of like going into your neighbor’s yard and starting a pick-up football game and telling your neighbor that he can’t play because he’s too big, too strong and too fast. Something about that just doesn't smell right! If you want to get better you play against better competition!

There’s been a couple of replies posted about the Lamb’s and even a couple by Haden himself so I’m going to quote someone that I highly respect and consider a very good friend, Haden’s granddad Mr. Don Lamb, but before I quote him I want to first say that most all of the weeknight dog fights that I’m aware of are pretty low cost entry fees. So here goes with the quote! “I fish tournaments to have FUN, If we’re fishing for money we are most likely fishing at the wrong level” So in other words, go out fish your dog fight and have fun with it!!! That’s what they are for, definitely not to get rich! So go fish and have fun and when you win some money consider it one of God’s blessings. If you can’t afford to loose your entry fee then shouldn’t compete in tournaments.

And by the way, I am still boatless as of now and am getting to fish very little so if someone has a back seat I’ll be glad to come and fish and I could really care less if Tennessee residents are competing because I'll just be happy to be there competing and having FUN!!!

I agree I fish Monday's and Thursday's and donate more then I win. I love the competition. I'm just trying to help some guys out. By doing this I would say a few will start fishing the other ones also.

I was just giving Haden a hard time. I fish them all summer for fun, once the spring bite passes we usually can't catch a cold during those hours but I still fish them. I've always thought the GA only thing was silly and yes I'm a GA resident.

And I bet you will be fishing them also

Derek, I didn't mean to insinuate that you or anyone was saying anything bad about anybody, but only mentioned the Lamb's because their name came up and I did intend on quoting Don regardless. It appeared to me that you were just poking fun at Haden.

Again, I'd love to fish some of these weeknight dog fights if anyone has a back seat open?
