Hey everyone, the UTC Bass Fishing team is looking for new sponsors to help us in the upcoming 2013-2014 season. As some of you may already know, we run our own trail called the Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail and we can use all the help we can get to make it run as smoothly as possible. I tried to attach a file in the previous post but did not work, so I just copied and pasted the document's words explaining more about our team and the trail we run so that yall can look at if you might be, or know someone who might be interested in sponsoring us. You don't have to go by the packages listed, any little thing can help us. The UTC Bass Fishing Team is looking for corporate funding and support. Your financial support will help send the team to events around the southeast UTC. The UTC Bass Fishing Team consists of over 40 active student members and this number continues to grow each semester. We plan to participate in over twenty college tournaments this year on different rivers and lakes across the Southeast.
The goal of our team is to promote the sport of bass fishing and to provide an opportunity for all students to participate in competitive bass fishing at a collegiate level. Being a part of the UTC Mocs Bass Anglers will allow members to compete against teams at other colleges and universities in a sport that we all love. We realize that our generation is responsible for the preservation and growth of competitive bass angling and therefore make it our goal to represent our sport, our sponsors, and our university with class and enthusiasm.
This year, the UTC Bass Anglers are also hosting their own collegiate tournament series, the Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail open to all college teams. This tournament trail consists of four qualifying events leading up to a series championship on Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga in early April. We expect participation from over a dozen different schools and predict fifty to one hundred college anglers per each event.
We have put together various sponsorship packages that will help our program to grow and become one of the elite programs. Any and all levels of support will be appreciated; however there are two set levels of sponsorship that the team will hope to achieve. These levels include Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail sponsor and UTC Bass Fishing Team travel sponsor.
Any sponsorship or donation made for the UTC Bass Fishing Team can be tax-deductible. If you are unable to make a financial contribution, we would appreciate your help in “talking up” the team and program to your friends and family. Thank you for your time and consideration as we look forward to working together to successfully build this exciting new club sport to the campus of UTC.

With your help at this level Your Company will be a main sponsor for our upcoming tournaments tournament trail, the Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail hosted by UT-Chattanooga. The Trail consists of five tournaments on five different Tennessee lakes and will take place from September- April 2013. We will be able to purchase the proper equipment to host the tournament trail and provide many of our anglers an opportunity to fish in these events. Your Company would receive the following:
- Your Company will have a large banner displayed at each of the five TCBFT events. This banner will be the background of all pictures taken at the event. Additionally Your Company logo will be placed on any retail products associated with the TCBFT like T-shirts, hats, and promotional flyers.
- Your Company will also receive significant mention on the UTC Bass Fishing Club website, www.utcbassfishing.com as the sponsor of the Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail as well as the Bass Fishing Club website listed on our school’s website, www.utc.edu which receives thousands of visitors per year.
- Your Company will be provided a space on every competitive tournament jersey to display your logo of choice.
- We would also love to distribute Your Company products at each event of the Tennessee Collegiate Bass Fishing Trail. This will not only provide the participants of each event with Your Company products, but also the families and fans present at the weigh-in.
• Travel Sponsor - $500
At this level you will be providing general travel support for the team. This money will go towards travel expenses such as fuel and hotel costs just to name a few.
- Your Company will have a magnet placed on the driver side door on at least four different vehicles used by the UTC Bass Fishing Club while traveling across the Southeast to fish each collegiate event. (If you have available)
- Your Company will also receive significant mention on the UTC Bass Fishing Club website, www.utcbassfishing.com as the travel sponsor of the UTC Bass Fishing Club as well as the Bass Fishing Club website listed on our school’s website, www.utc.edu which receives thousands of visitors per year.
